How Do I Place an Online Order?

Placing an online order at gianttiger.com is quick and easy!

  • Make sure you are signed in to your Giant Tiger account before you shop.
  • Browse our products and select the ones you’re interested in buying. Select “Add to Cart”.
  • Once you are done shopping, select the “Cart” icon at the top right corner of your screen.
  • Make sure your items are eligible for all store pick-up or all ship to home. At this time, you are unable to make a purchase for both of these options at once. If you have some products that are only available for store pick-up, you will need to make a separate order.
  • On the order summary page, review your cart and select “Check out”.
  • Confirm your shipping and billing information and select “Pay Now”.

Do I Need a Giant Tiger Account to Place an Order?

No, you do not need to have a Giant Tiger account to make an online purchase. You can shop and check out as a guest.

Can I Use a Giant Tiger Gift Card to Make a Purchase Online?

Unfortunately, you are unable to make a purchase online with a Giant Tiger gift card. Visit your local store to use your gift card.


Can I Purchase a Gift Card Online?

Standard Giant Tiger gift cards can be purchased at all Giant Tiger locations and online. For online orders, physical gift cards will be shipped to you just like other items ordered from our warehouse.


What Forms of Payments Are Accepted Online?

For online orders, we accept MasterCard, VISA or VISA Debit, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Apple Pay and Shop Pay, as long as your card was issued in Canada or the United States. At this time, we are unable to accept Giant Tiger gift cards as payment for online orders. We are working toward offering this in the future. During checkout, you will be asked to provide the telephone number associated with your credit card account (billing phone number). Please make sure you have the correct telephone number inserted before you complete your online order.


Can I Use a Manufacturer Coupon Online?

Unfortunately, you cannot use any manufacturer coupon for online purchases.


Can I Get Free Shipping on My Online Order?

For home delivery, you can qualify for free shipping on orders of $75 or more (before applicable taxes). Some exclusions apply. 


How Do I Cancel an Item from My Online Order?

To cancel an item from your online order, please reach out to our Customer Service team with your confirmation order. An order cannot be modified once the order is placed. This includes adding/removing items, adding/removing quantities or editing shipping/billing information and email addresses.


When Will I Be Charged for My Order?

A hold of the full transaction amount will be placed on your account immediately after you complete your online order. You will only be charged when your order is shipped or picked up in store.


Can I Update the Credit Card Saved to My Account?

Yes, you can edit the credit card saved on Shop Pay in the payment section of the checkout page.


Can I Shop Items to My Local Giant Tiger Store During Checkout?

At this time, you can only choose ship to home or store pick-up. Ship to home relies on warehouse stock and store pick-up relies on individual stores’ stock. If your selected store does not have the inventory, try other locations.
