I Have an Issue with a Product
We take product quality issues and safety seriously. In order for us to investigate further, please contact our Customer Service team and provide the following details so we can resolve your order issue efficiently:
- Full name or detailed description of item
- SKU or the UPC code
- Lot code/best before date (grocery items)
- Copy of your receipt
- 1-2 sentences describing your issue or concern with the product
We will escalate the issue with our buying team, internal business partners and vendor manufacturers. Once we receive the details, we will investigate your concern, please allow us 2-3 business days to follow up with you again.
Does Giant Tiger Participate in the Scanner Accuracy Price Code?
Yes. Giant Tiger is committed to abiding by the Scanner Price Accuracy Code also known as the Scanning Code of Practice and is a recognized partner with the Retail Council of Canada. If you have any questions or have experienced a price scanning inaccuracy, please reach out to the Customer Service team and they’ll be happy to assist you.
The Item I Purchased Now Has a Lower Price. Will Giant Tiger Honour the Lower Price?
For in-store purchases/customers, if the price has been lowered within 14 days of the original purchase, our stores would be happy to offer a refund for the difference via the original method of payment. Please note, you must have your receipt.
For online purchases/customers, if the price has been lowered within 14 days of the original purchase, please contact our Customer Service team with the order number and SKU/item number. We would be happy to offer a credit on your online order, this will be in the form of a refund via the original method of payment. Please note, the credit will take 7-10 business days dependent on your financial institution to show up on your banking statement.
Why is the Item I Am Interested in Only Available in Store?
A lot of products on gianttiger.com are available to buy both online and in store, but some items are online only, and others are in store only. Due to circumstances like size and shipping costs, some items may not be available to purchase online. Our online warehouse may also be out of stock, so our website shows you which stores have inventory so you can make an in-store purchase.
Quebec availability: Some products we sell are not permitted for sale to addresses in the Province of Quebec under the terms of The Charter of the French Language.
Can I Return an item I Am Unhappy With?
Yes, satisfaction is guaranteed or your money is cheerfully refunded with no time limit. Sales receipt or online order confirmation is required. Learn more about our Return Policy.

Why Are There Limits on Certain Products?
Giant Tiger reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased by a person, household or order. We cannot ship more than the limit allows. For in-store purchases, sale limits or quantity limits may be set at the discretion of the store owner/manager.
